City Nissan Takapuna

August 2008 - City Nissan Takapuna, one of three Nissan franchises operated by the Sime Darby Motor Group in New Zealand, has just finished a 17-month make over. The business based on the north shore of Auckland, New Zealand's largest city, has undergone a complete transformation from a dated 20 year old facility to a state of the art building which conforms to N READI, the latest worldwide standard for Nissan. In the process, the site has been enlarged from 8 workshop bays to 14 and a 3 small car showroom has blossomed to a 9 car showroom allowing all of the Nissan models to be professionally displayed.

For Mike Gilmour the Dealer Principal who has lived and breathed the redevelopment is ecstatic that finally, these are all behind him and the wait has been worth it. “We now have a state of the art facility which the staff and I are really proud of.
