SHAH ALAM, 14 August 2008 - Two all-new i10 car were given away to herald the launch of the hot new car in Malaysia. The rare opportunity to drive home the delightful and award winning car was opened to the public in a simple and trend setting generous mood – Members of the public just brought along an original copy of the newspaper teaser advertisement, registered and picked up one of the keys from a designated box. If the key opened the padlock leading to the i10 displayed inside the box, that i10 was to be taken home.

This dramatic giveaway promotion drew an extra large crowd to the special display area at the Cineleisure, Damansara in Petaling Jaya as well as Sunway Carnival Mall Seberang Jaya Perai and Hyumal Trading showroom at Plentong Johore. These draws were opened to the media who attended the press preview. The public were then allowed to register and the first 200 who registered were eligible to try their luck.

For those who had booked the i10 during the roadshows had additional chances of getting a RM 5000 cash voucher to Korea by Sime Darby Travel, an i-Mac, an i-Pod nano or a RM 50 fuel voucher.

Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors Sdn. Bhd. Echoed the launch of the i10 in both the North and the South on the 14th -16th August as well as 22nd -24th August 2008 at Sunway Carnival Mall Seberang Jaya Penang and Hyumal Trading Sdn. Bhd. Plentong Johore. All roadshows had also allowed customer 1st hand experience by allowing customers to do a test drive during the roadshow, thereby giving customers the i10 experience.

The i10 5-door hatchback is the latest runabout from Hyundai Motor Company, the world’s fifth largest motor manufacturer. Its distinctive European lines and stunning interior have drawn huge response to it, transforming the way people move around today.
