Quasar has granted Inokom a contract assembly to assemble complete-knocked-down (CKD) Dong Feng Bison 260 trucks. Categorized as rigid truck, the Dong Feng Bison 260 is fully imported from China by Dong Feng Commercial Vehicle Company. The CKD trucks are then distributed by Quasar Industrial Vehicles Sdn Bhd, which used to be the Malaysian distributor for Renault trucks.

Prior to this, a pilot project took place at the Inokom plant on 10 February 2009 which involved 22 Inokom staff. With the assistance of technical assistants from Dong Feng Commercial Vehicle, the project completed within three weeks. Mass production of the truck has successfully started on 1 April 2009.
