MPC ICC National Convention 2008

Inokom team representatives at MPC ICC National Convention 2008 (From left : Hamdan Abd Hamid, Anuar Husin, Zaini Kasa, Mohd Helmi Osman, Mohd Izzarudin Mat Saad, Mohd Nazli Mohd Noor, Fursan Shaheawi, Mohd Shazli Salleh, Zulkifli Abd Halim, Ahmad Zamri Abd Wahab and Asmida) | 21 August 2008 - A total of 156 groups from four different sectors participated in the annual MPC ICC National Convention on the 19th until 21st August 2008. Organized by Malaysian Productivity Council (MPC), the convention has attracted groups from various sectors including Public Sector, Electric/electronic Sector, Manufacturing Sector and Service Sector.
Inokom Corporation Sdn Bhd competed in manufacturing sectors with other 54 groups from Proton, Perodua and Hicom-Honda. The three days event demonstrated innovative and creative projects from various organizations and was the first national convention participated by Inokom. The convention has provided a platform to support continuous improvement among Inokom employees and sharing best practices with other companies. Even for a first time participation, Inokom managed to won Gold Award 3 Star and 2 Star for team BPT QA Power and 2Q1C respectively.
 A recognition achieved by Inokom teams at MPC ICC National Convention was resulted from annual ICC Mini Convention organize in Inokom and has already established as one of Inokom major activities. The teams represented in the national convention were those who won in Inokom ICC Mini Convention 2008. As to keep the company abreast with the automotive industry, the CEO; Tuan Syed Mudzhar bin Syed Ali has urged employees to make ICC as part of company’s culture towards continuous improvement.
Next year event will promise more innovative and creative projects by selected teams to represent Inokom at MPC ICC National Convention 2009 as well as making it a platform to promote Inokom brand at higher level.
